Tuition, Payment and Refund Policy

1. Scope and Enrollment

This policy applies to ICM Academy, organized by ICM Management, LLC. Submitting an application does not constitute enrollment. Enrollment is confirmed only after a student has received an offer of admission, accepted the enrollment documents, and paid the seat deposit by the specified deadline. By paying the deposit, the student agrees to the terms of this policy.

2. Tuition and Payment Deadlines

The total tuition is USD 8,500.

  • Seat deposit: USD 1,500, due December 30, 2026

  • First installment: USD 3,500, due January 15, 2027

  • Second installment: USD 3,500, due May 15, 2027

The seat deposit is applied toward the total tuition and is non-refundable once paid, unless ICM cancels the program or a refund is required by applicable law. Students admitted after the priority deadline will receive separate payment deadlines.

All payments must be made by the specified deadlines using the payment method designated by ICM. Students are responsible for any applicable taxes, bank or transfer fees, and currency-conversion charges, and must ensure that ICM receives the full tuition amount.

3. Late or Missed Payments

If a payment is not received by the deadline, ICM will notify the student in writing. If the payment remains outstanding seven days after the notice, ICM may suspend the student's access to classes and course materials and cancel their enrollment.

Any amounts already paid will not be refunded. Students remain responsible for any unpaid installments due before their withdrawal or removal.

4. Student Cancellation or Withdrawal

If a student cancels their enrollment before the program begins or withdraws after it starts, any tuition already paid will not be refunded, except as required by applicable law.

This applies regardless of the reason, including personal circumstances, scheduling conflicts, absences, or visa and travel issues.

Students wishing to cancel their enrollment or withdraw from the program must submit a written request to [email protected], copying [email protected].

5. Cancellation or Non-Delivery by ICM

  • Before the program begins: If ICM cancels the entire program, all tuition payments, including the seat deposit, will be refunded in full.

  • After the program begins: If ICM is unable to deliver scheduled instruction, it will first attempt to reschedule the affected classes or provide make-up sessions within the program period. Any teaching hours that cannot be delivered or made up will be refunded proportionally, calculated as follows:

Refund amount = USD 8,500 × (Undelivered teaching hours ÷ 84 total teaching hours)

  • Changes to the schedule, faculty, venue, or delivery format, including moving classes or workshops online, do not qualify for a refund as long as the program's educational content is maintained.

  • Refunds will be processed within 14 days after the refund amount and payment details have been confirmed.

6. Circumstances Beyond ICM's Control

If circumstances beyond ICM's reasonable control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or travel restrictions, prevent in-person instruction, ICM may move the affected classes online or reschedule them.

Such changes do not qualify for a refund. If the program cannot be delivered at all, refunds will be provided as outlined above.

7. Travel and Workshop Expenses

Students are responsible for arranging and covering their own travel, accommodation, meals, and visa expenses, including those related to the Seoul workshops.

These expenses are not included in tuition and will not be reimbursed by ICM. ICM does not guarantee visa approval.

Students are advised not to make non-refundable travel or accommodation bookings until workshop dates and venues have been confirmed.

8. Deferral

Deferrals or transfers to a future cohort are not guaranteed and require ICM's approval and written confirmation.

9. Student Conduct

All students are required to comply with the Student Handbook, including rules prohibiting unauthorized recording, copying, or distribution of course materials.

Confirmed violations may result in removal from the program and denial of a certificate, without a refund, except as required by applicable law. Before such action is taken, the student will be notified and given an opportunity to respond.

ICM may immediately suspend access to course materials during an investigation to protect its educational content. ICM also reserves the right to seek compensation for proven losses and pursue other remedies available under applicable law.

10. Applicable Law

Nothing in this policy limits any rights students may have under mandatory consumer protection laws.

If applicable law requires a refund or otherwise conflicts with a provision of this policy, the law will prevail to the extent required. All remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

For questions or concerns regarding this policy, please contact ICM Academy at [email protected].
